Taotie Vase

A magnificent large antique stone vase with cover, late Qing Dynasty early Republic Period.
The cover with a dragon handles on either side carved with archaic designs.
A bulbous pear shape body intricately carved in an archaic Taotie style, drqagon head handles on either side carying a ring. A slightly splayed foot.
The carving absolutely superb as are all the details. The vase and cover are well hollowed.
The stone in shades of light and dark jade green with with variegated shades of brown and cream in parts, of good colour and depth.
Not being an expert on any stone / jade etc, I refer the classification of stone to the expertise of others.
