STONE CENSER 香炉 CREAM TAN

A large impressive vintage (over 70 years old) robust Chinese censer 香炉. The stone of an extremely attractive creamy tan colour. The cover surmounted with two shishi playing, underneath three Shishi head handles each carrying large ring. The round body section, Shishi headed handles on opposite ends. The handles unusual and appealing in their form each carrying rarely seen three interlinked rings. Standing on three Taotie faced solid footed legs.
Not being an expert on stone / jade etc, I refer the classification / type of stone to the expertise of others.
