ANTIQUE JAPANESE NETSUKE

A truly magnificent unstained ivory composition of an Ama and an Octopus.
A look of rapturous pleasure on the face of the Ama. Her right hand on top of the head of the octopus as though embracing, a tentacle looped over her arm, another tentacle holding her right leg close to its body .
Her left arm grasping a tentacle as it travels around her shoulder caressing the long hair that flows down her back.
Another tentacle capturing and raising her left leg allowing it to make its way under her skirt.
Meticulously carved exquisitely detailed this netsuke is an absolute Masterpiece.
