Note:
This is an extremely rare masterpiece.
There appears to be no record of a similar shape and decorated 珐琅彩 falangcai vase on copper.

The design on this vase relates to a vase in the Palace Museum Beijing, one of a pair, the other under private ownership being sold at Sotheby's 2004, refer under.

It was noted that: " no other piece of this form or design appears to be recorded."

The Famille Rose Porcelain vase of a similar design and form, ( the pair to the vase in the Palace Museum) was auctioned at Sotheby's 3 Oct 2004 lot 131. (41,502,400 HKD).

It is very possible that this Falangcai vase was made based on the original that resides in the Palace Museum Beijing.
