Beijing Enamel Falangcai

The majority of the snuff bottles and other Falangcai items listed, have accumulated green to bluish green wear / buildup on the exposed sections of copper.
This is copper encrustation a type of patina formed on copper or brass by atmospheric oxidation due to age, exposure to damp in the air and other factors.
It is a strong indicator that the items are old and forms part of the provenance

Since acquiring my collections, some up to 50 years ago, I have spent many hours initially checking books , auctions, and then the internet, in an effort to find similar to what I own for my own reference and edification.
Where applicable, I have noted on each listing, similar examples that I have seen / found in my research.
The image size of each listing is to enable one to see every tiny detail magnified, in the case of snuff bottles they are much larger than the original.

Please ignore any window light reflections, usually on the left hand side.
The images are all taken inside using natural daylight. I am an amateur image taker.!
