A continuous scene, four scholars perusing a scroll within a rocky landscape, a gnarled twisted pine, overhanging branches.
Two scholars on a small bridge crossing a flowing river, two female attendants in flowing robes, an old pine tree with branches overhanging,
Calligraphy on rock outcrop.
Formerly the property of a Japanese collector - acquired over 40 years ago.
