A continuous scene carved in high relief, a roofed pavilion, scholars some with attendants following various pursuits, clouds above high mountains, pine and cypress trees, rock formations, running stream.
Calligraphy, seal mark.
A very tactile brushpot.

Formerly the property of a Japanese collector - acquired over 40 years ago.
